My P
hiosophy in Teaching

I chose an academic teaching as a career because I want to develop new knowledge through research, and expand knowledge in my field. Therefore I believe I can learn much from my colleagues and students. In order to achieve the ultimate goal of student learning I use many different teaching techniques as well as I use a combination of traditional lecture and problem-based learning formats in my teaching. I create assignments that improve students’ problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Also I encourage students to ask questions and give their views on the material we are covering. I believe that these strategies help students become ready and able to utilize their knowledge in their studies and in their future employment.
