Thermoluminescence characteristics of Cu2O doped Calcium Lithium
borate glass irradiated with the cobalt-60 gamma rays

The aim of this study to prepare and investigate the thermoluminescence characteristics for the undoped and Cu2O doped calcium lithium borate glass with various Cu2O concentrations. The glasses were prepared by the melt quenching method and irradiated with Co-60 gamma-ray to doses in the (0.5 – 4.0) Gy, (5 –10.0) Gy, and (20 –100) Gy ranges. The effect of heating rate, glowing curves, linearity, sensitivity, fading, Reproducibility of response and minimum detectable dose are studied.
