Outline Biography

Peshawa is an Assistant Lecturer holding M.Sc. in Computer Science in the Department of Software Engineering DSWE, where he joined the work at Koya University since 2006. Before that, he was Chief Engineer at the Koya Directorate of Renovation and Housing where he was responsible for the technical department and at the same time supervising five building projects, (2004-2006). He gained a B.Sc. degree in Engineering from Salahaddin University in 1999, M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Koya University in 2006. He started his academic teaching in 2006 when he joined the work at the Koya University as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering.

In 2000 he joined the UN-Habitat agency, Erbil office, as a site engineer and then as a supervisor engineer, till 2003 where he joined again the work with the Koya Directorate of Renovation and Housing.

Peshawa participated in studying, designing and supervising more than 20 projects, participated in CCNA courses, he obtained instructor certificate from Cisco. He has been taught several courses like C++, Java, OOP, GUI, Numerical Analysis, Computer Graphics, Data Security, Data, Mining, Mathematics, Statistics. Also, he participated as an instructor in all computer training courses held at Koya University (2006-2010). He is a member of Kurdistan Engineers Union since 1999.

Research Interests
Peshawa's research interest includes the following fields;
1. Image processing and information hiding.
2. Machine learning techniques and data mining.
3. computational linguistics.
