  • Conducting a seminar at 03/12/2013 about '' APA reference style'' summary of the seminar : Referencing is a standardized way of acknowledging the sources of information and ideas that used in academic papers and which allows the sources to be identified. American Psychological Association (APA) style is one of several styles for academic writing. Referencing is important to avoid plagiarism, to verify quotations and to enable readers to follow up what you have written and more fully understand the cited author’s work. So, It is important (morally & legally) to  acknowledge someone else’s ideas or words you have used.
