Well Logging Analysis

Well log analysis is at the intersection of a number of disciplines, including, geology, geophysics and reservoir engineering. Each discipline that encounters and uses well log data does so from its own perspective. This course provides all information about well logs from all perspectives. It focuses on the interpretation of basic or common open hole logging measurements. It also focuses on the traditional interpretive goals of formation porosity, fluid saturation and lithology. This is done through the study of the properties of rocks by petrolphysical techniques using electric, nuclear, and acoustical sources.
